The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. I didn't realise the scope of the facilities that are available when I booked on line so next time I visit, I will remember to bring my running shoes/gym gear and tennis racquet!
A few staff around the pool area more regularly would have been good -to assist with moving the deck chairs as they are difficult to move on sand/checking for drinks/food orders etc. More obvious info/ a brochure etc about the spa facilities available could have been placed in the room. Then I may have been more prompted to utilise it. Breakfast -better choice of healthy/multigrain breads would have been good rather. Cereals -I didn't see any and was looking for muesli in particular.
The staff were their key attributes. All without exception were friendly, knew our names immediately after we have checked in. They were always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty.
Suggestion for improvement - more variety of activites for leisure and entertainment. Restuarant did not offer good local food. We wanted to eat local food like Nasi Padang, Babi Guling and loacl Balinese food but the hotel restuarant did not offer these. We had to travel to other parts of Bali to try these food. Also wanted to sample local fruits but there was not much of a variety offered at breakfast.
We loved everything about the resort, it was excellent we would highly recommend staying at The Breezes Bali Resort & Spa. The hotel is located in a great location close to shopping and the beach. Great facilities and friendly staff.
We enjoyed the extremely friendly staff, the open environment of the Lobby and Breakfast Room. The "cool" pools and green surroundings. The location to good restaurants was a big plus.
the hotel is nice, but feels really like a charter tourist hotel. Not so classy that I would have expected. To many does and don´ts. Not to impressed.
Location is not bad - shopping and bars are near, sea is quite far... min. 500 meters. It's good for young people - but too high priced ... employees are friendly - well, they are from BALI ! Lobby area is nice. Breakfast o.k.
it's a holliday bunker.. you will see whats going on in many other balconies.. in the same time every body sees whats going on in your balcony... its loud, and over all there is many more stylish cheaper and cleaner options nearby to be booked on the spot. Even during Christmas time you will find many options available..
nice atmosphere... pool with sea sands...
three floors hotel without any elevator or lift...
Beer-drinking guests in the swim-up bar/ pool from 9 o'clock in the morning. Loud music at the pool. Tired room and bathroom. Website of hotel does not reflect reality. Hotel is primarily for "party-people youngsters" with tattoos and Bintang T-shirts. Checked-out after 1 day.
Lovely pool. Good bar in the pool which was fun
Breakfast not great. Food often cold. Overpriced
It was not a huge hotel & easy walking distance to shopping.
Bathrooms VERY small & sand area around dining hall & parts of pool.Need more pillows.
Great pool side area - many chairs and areas to relax. I enjoyed using the gym - very basic and could do with a bit of upgrading but better than nothing!
Our room was located with the balcony facing the main pool with bar. Although there are rules re curfew with the pool- almost every night after midnight people were in there and it was quite loud. I did not get a full night sleep any night - im on holidays!!!
power went out , loud bangs coming from water pipes, got upgraded to a room that was worse. after already confirming that our room was available 2days prior.
The staff at the Breezes are super friendly and always smiling. The hotel has a lot to offer with a great swimming pool and swim up bar. They run games each day and encourge guest to interact with other guest and be social which is great. We were there with 6 people and had a blast. The hotel has had some bad reviews previously as it's an old contiki hotel but they are trying to move away from this, we only had trouble with a few loud nights when the people next door decided to come home at 4:30am and continue to have a party. Besides this the hotel is in a good location and I would definately return on my next trip to Bali. Tip to note- It's worth upgrading to the pool side rooms.
The two things i would change is that the Wi-fi isn't free and it should be in such a large hotel and secondly the hotel doesn't allow you to drink your own water (purchased outside the hotel anywhere in the resort besides your room) this is ridiculous and really annoying. On many occassions we had come back shopping and were sitting by around the resort with our water bottles and were asked to put them away. This is really overkill, at one point i was asked to put away a packet out chips that i had purchased on the way back from shopping, considering we spent over $1000 at the pool bar i should be able to eat my own chips.....
our room was on the east side which was in walking distance for breakfast which was nice everyday . the staff were very freindly and helpful.
The rooms at the pool area near the bar are very noisy so if you stay on the ground floor choose the east side. The only issue we had was they had work happened next door to our room and the paint smell was awful which they did look after us . this should have been planned in advance. the work on the pool area and spa roof was noisy while you are rexlaxing.
We loved the staff at The Breezes, everyone was so accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We are currently staying in another hotel in Bali which we paid more to be in and it is no where as good as The Breezes... infact we miss The Breezes and wish we had never left!!! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and was a in good location. We absolutely LOVED The Spa! Etik was our favourite therapist and we went every single night we were there!
There isn't much we didnt like about The Breezes but if we had to choose something it would have to be the food... Unfortunatley the food wasnt very good and tasted cheap... Otherwise we loved our stay!
